Neurology Consultation

Specialist assessment and treatment for conditions affecting the brain, spine, and nerves — by referral from your family doctor or nurse practitioner.

The First Step On Your Path Forward

A neurology consultation at NEO is a specialist assessment of a condition affecting your brain, spine, or nerves. Your neurologist reviews your history, examines you, arranges any tests needed, and works with you on a treatment plan — and keeps your referring provider informed. Consultations are by referral from a family doctor or nurse practitioner.

Headache Clinic

NEO's Comprehensive Headache Program assesses and treats migraine (including chronic migraine), tension-type headache, cluster headache, medication-overuse headache, and post-traumatic or concussion-related headache. Treatment can include preventive medications, acute therapies, CGRP-targeted treatments, botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine, nerve blocks, and infusion therapies for severe cases. For adults and adolescents 14 and older.

Tremor

Tremor is involuntary shaking that can affect the hands, arms, head, or legs. It has many causes, including essential tremor, Parkinson's disease, and dystonia. A tremor assessment at NEO works out the type and cause so treatment can be matched to it.

Spasticity

Spasticity is muscle stiffness or involuntary tightening after a stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, MS, or cerebral palsy. NEO offers assessment and treatment, including botulinum toxin injections and neuro-physiotherapy, to ease spasms and make movement and daily care more comfortable.

Parkinson’s Disease

Parkinson's disease and parkinsonism are progressive conditions that affect movement, balance, and daily function. NEO provides a comprehensive evaluation and an individualized management plan, with early, accurate diagnosis as the starting point.

Neurological Symptoms

Dizziness, numbness or tingling, weakness, memory changes, balance problems, and other unexplained neurological symptoms can point to a range of underlying conditions. A neurological symptom assessment at NEO works to identify the cause and set a plan.

TIA / Stroke Follow-up

After a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), ongoing assessment and prevention lower the risk of another event. NEO provides stroke and TIA follow-up and personalized prevention planning. If you are having stroke symptoms now, call 911.
